About the event
A Q+A with sketch comedy queens Lazy Susan, and the producer of their Channel 4 comedy short, Katie Churchill
About this EventCeleste Dring and Freya Parker are the brains (and brawn) behind Edinburgh Comedy Award nominated sketch comedy double act Lazy Susan. Individually, the have appeared in some of the biggest comedy highlights of recent years, including The Windsors, This Country and The Mash Report, but now they're bringing their unique brand of comedy to the small screen with their very own sketch show.
Katie Churchill is a development producer at Tiger Aspect, one of the founders of multiple award-winning production company Berk's Nest, and a hugely respected live comedy director.
In this session, we'll be chatting with Celeste, Freya and Katie about their journey translating live comedy for the screen, the writing and production process, finding and working with the right producer/s, and how to package and pitch sketch to commissioners.
Come along and bring your questions!
